Cancellation, Refund & Replacement Policy – Cake Palace

At Cake Palace, we are committed to delivering freshly baked treats with quality and care. Due to the made-to-order and perishable nature of our products, we kindly request that you read our policy carefully before placing an order.


1. Order Cancellation Policy

a. Timeframe for Cancellation

  • Orders can only be canceled before preparation or dispatch begins.

  • Cancellation requests must be made at least 2 to 4 hours before the scheduled delivery time.

  • For custom or large orders, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • No cancellations are accepted once the order is out for delivery or baking/preparation has started.

b. How to Cancel an Order

Please include your Order ID, registered name, and delivery date/time to help us process your request quickly.


2. Refund Policy

a. Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds are processed only under the following conditions:

  • Order canceled within the eligible cancellation period.

  • Non-delivery due to an internal error or delivery failure on our part.

  • Incorrect or damaged product delivered (must be reported within 2 hours with photographic evidence).

b. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Cancellations requested after preparation or dispatch.

  • Incorrect delivery address or contact details provided by the customer.

  • Recipient unavailable or unreachable at the time of delivery.

  • Product dissatisfaction due to design, color, taste, or minor differences in handcrafted items.


3. Refund Process

  • Eligible refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.

  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds (if applicable) will be processed via UPI or bank transfer after verification.


4. Replacement Policy

Replacements are offered under the following conditions:

  • Wrong item delivered.

  • Product delivered in a damaged condition.

Conditions for Replacement:

  • Issue must be reported within 2 hours of delivery.

  • Clear photographs of the product must be shared as proof.

  • Replacements are subject to product availability and service feasibility in your area.
